Snacks made from chickpeas

Ingrediants (for 2 persons):Grickalice od nauta

  • 1 glass of dried chickpeas

Spices to taste:

  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil (the usual, spicy, sesame, etc.)
  • Cayenne pepper or chili
  • Garlic powder
  • Curry
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Minced ginger
  • Honey
  • Agave or maple syrup.

 

Preparation:

Wash the chickpeas and soak in water overnight; strain the next day. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Cover the baking pan with aluminum foil and then lay down one layer of chickpeas. Pour a little oil (only a few tablespoons, depending on the amount of the chickpeas), season with salt and other spices then mix well so the spices evenly cover the seeds.

Mix chickpeas with honey, agave or maple syrup before baking if you want a sweet snack. Bake 30-40 minutes, until golden brown, stir every ten minutes so each side of the grain becomes brown and crispy.

When chickpeas are completely cooled down, you can start snacking! :)

Keep in tightly closing containers up to one week.
